“I imagine utopia in the spaces between tradition and future where architecture, ritual and material converge into the timeless.”
Sandra Val (born 1979, Tarragona) is a Spanish artist based in Madrid whose work constructs liminal worlds governed by memory, architecture and materials. Drawing from ceramics, glass, metal, textile and architectural motifs, she creates installations and objects that phase between the familiar and the uncanny, rooted in tradition yet projecting forward with a vision of timelessness.
